Rubber Ducky

So I’m sitting here…listening to dogs bark..I decided to do a synopsis of my life thus far…

Talk about humorous or hubris..I have to say the biggest thing I’ve learned is not to be so gullible.

I have always placed true faith in people when meeting them.  I would have to say I am more disappointed in learning that bygones naturally have a thing for justification… It’s always easier to justify one’s actions when they are based on false pretense as so many people believe they “KNOW”.

I have stated many times before when your “Here” your relevant…and when you’re not, you’re not!

Listening to my elders has led me to believe many things.

#1. We are guided by intentions, my intentions although respectable have a limit. With that being said I don’t always make the best decisions.  I can at times (most of the time) be sarcastic, demeaning, belittling, and downright crass.  I believe not many people understand this is a defense mechanism for guarding my heart and my assets. On the other hand I am giving, supportive, honest, and infallible when it comes to protecting those that are close to my heart.  It’s funny how when a person notices the elephant in the room it always wants to sit at their table.

#2. I can’t learn from your experiences…I guess I am a “Burner Learner” however, How can I learn from someone else’s experiences when they don’t have any…Unless i’m walking in your path, striving to achieve what you have, or seeking to become an apprentice within your genre I can’t learn much from you…This is not to say if you tell me the sky is blue that I won’t believe you, but attempting to talk to me about life beyond the generic is pointless. Especially if you manipulate your own to stay afloat.  I recently read somewhere  It’s not what you’ve done or where you’ve been..It’s what you’re doing and where your going. Comfortability is neither good or bad but it says much about expectations of which most comfortable people have none.

#3.  Everything expires…People, Piracy and Patience

#4. Security is a state of mind. If you’re not looking for stability your never going to have it.

#5. Christians and Homosexuals are messy..the Whole lot of them…Me Included! The only difference is some aren’t corrupt or abusive.  Never having to Beg, Borrow or steal, never asking but  always offering and certainly not making promises they can’t keep or are willing to uphold.

#6. Don’t Smile in someone’s face unless their your boss and they sign your check…it’s just a ploy for them to plant the guilt in your garden. But you know what…don’t fault someone for accepting what you offer if the feeling of disgust is going to plague the aftermath.

#7. Business and Friends is bad period…I have yet to land in a situation where I am not looking for whats owed over how good our interactions have been, I know my conversations are pleasurable, I was made that way.  Personally I find I’ve become a platform scuffed by  shoe marks, cum and spit…quite frankly it’s tiring.

A) Shoe Marks- Being the Good Guy…Getting Walked all over by others who are just as confused.

B) Cum- It’s Just a free for all once the orgasm has passed…The only question is where it lands…Your mouth, Your Chest, Your Back…Once it’s over your move to clean-up.

C) Spit-  Being degraded to the lowest point simply because of a blindsided revelation. One that is not your own but regarded as “Important” to someone close at the time.

#8. No one accepts what another is willing to pass upon.

#9. Everyone wants to be in a relationship…Yes one may be content with his or her current status but in the end dying alone is never in the cards.  Albeit most people who are alone are alone by choices good and bad.

#10.  If it walks like a duck, Quacks Like a Duck, and Craps like a Duck….Throw it a piece of bread and keep it moving….

What did you learn, The righteous repent consistently while the foiled beseech his mercy in the aftermath.

I learned the wrong see wrong and can lead a horse to water while bearing there weight on his back.

I learned Quiet doesn’t mean Correct and Sanctity has no justification.

I learned peasants can be rich, and money is forever coveted and highly stained.

I learned to listen to empty promises with open ears instead of open eyes.

I learned to say No Thank you as opposed to entertaining for the sake of sake.

I learned Men will be parishioners of self first and women with tongue taint the validity of values.

I learned family is forever and some friends are forever in your debt…Figuratively and literally!

I learned teachers come with great lessons but only the willing can be taught.

I learned liars can take the form of angels and blood masked by the taste of wine.

I learned humility comes with acceptance and wars are waged by the wicked, not the worrisome.

I learned ailments can be crutches excused by the feeble to only then be acknowledged by the fugitive.

I learned everything expires including valiant tales of “what you think you’ve done”.

I learned height has no equal when we are all buried six feet under with nothing to spare.

I learned ignorance is impartial and begins at home.

I learned those who speak of the universe comprehend only there experiences.

I learned age is a number with no regard for morals, it simply atones for years upon the earth.

I learned savages often speak out of turn and are quick to run when they are spoken to.

I learned the power of words is limited to everyone and can be abused by anyone.

I learned loneliness is only a problem warranted by insecurities and plagues everyone.

I learned old flames burn out quicker yet leave the same scar.

I learned the only explanation I need offer, I need not offer to land or law.

I learned written off does not mean paid in full.

I learned birds of a feather flock together and every thing is in my name, one name for a reason.

I learned the line between sharing an stealing is often skewed.

I learned out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks and anger is vivid.

I learned there’s nothing worse than a passionate person on an un-financed venture with no hope for success.

I learned the educated are dumber than a box of rocks and the uneducated live by universal law.

I learned you can snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.

With that being said, I know what it’s like to pick up the pieces of a shattered life while a heart beats.

I know what it’s like to feel the shrapnel of war invade flesh to atone for mans mistakes.

I know what it’s like to hear a whisper that quakes the earth and bleeds your ears.

I know what it’s like to walk a hundred miles with a thousand pounds and a million questions .

I know what it’s like to be inconvenienced  and then convene in the wake of waiting.

I know what it’s like to harbor unjust hatred and misplace faith upon the mantel of an unsure deity.

I know what it’s like to speak in sincerity to only then be gazed upon warily.

I know what it’s like to listen to anothers experience and pass judgement.

I know what it’s like to listen to anothers judgement and pass on experiences.

I know what it’s like to want to die, to only be reborn.
