To The Light
Inspiration becomes my vision,
Standing in the mirror of life I see truth.
Gazing at what once was thought to be lost
Feeling the fire burn within my veins energizes my soul.
Forgetting about sorrow and pain I cherish the moment.
Free from my own inner cage I Basque in the glory of the sun.
Releasing the hurt sensitive emotions take control.
Why did I believe all was lost.
No more tears filled with what was and why.
Gliding across my fears I smile and continue on my journey to inner peace.
No longer ashamed of my shadow I grace the world with the hope of a new dawn.
Not looking back my spirit leads me chanting “It will Be Okay”.
A new strength emerges with healing powers that proudly stand by my side.
Finally I Have won,
Finally I am Happy,
For the first time I am Free.
