Formidable Woman

Formidable Woman

(~Lashanda’s Sonnet~)

Formidable woman, your strong, benevolent and always in order.

Your venerable patience, illustrious presence beseeches temperance and justice.

Passion through omniscience, divinity, Serenity, but I can’t ease your pain.

I wish I could harvest the good in man, shelter you from foreboding moments and sacrificial gestures of empty hopes.

I wish I could absolve your pain, kiss your wounds and tell you it’s going to be alright,

I wish I could find your heart so faulty credence bears no resemblance to rusted shackles and sumptuous thorns.

A sage amongst seas of deceit, through your hurt amazing truth seeps from the confines of your voice, angels caress your path.

Definition caters your foot steps and serendipity halts for the chance to be proven ill fated.

Amazing Brazen, so ready to be taken Formidable Woman
